This is my second Poetry Marathon; last year was my first. I am a writer and editor, and I own my own small business doing both. I am so thankful to be able to work at something I love, on my own schedule. But the genre love of my life is poetry. My poetry style tends to be unfettered and epic in the sense of capturing a scene, an interaction, or a mini story. I focus a lot on images within my poems. Much of my poetry involves nature because I feel Mother Earth has much wisdom to share with us if we are open to hear her with all of our senses.<\/h3>\n<h3>I&#8217;m looking forward to getting to know many of you and reading and commenting on your poems.
