just a box of matches<\/p>\n

With flames on my lashes<\/p>\n

Thingsll be better<\/p>\n

no more scars no more gashes<\/p>\n

Flying along while somebody bashes<\/p>\n

Everything I’ve said<\/p>\n

Everything I’ve done<\/p>\n

But I’ve won<\/p>\n

Haven’t I?<\/p>\n

That’s just it<\/p>\n

They’re full of shit<\/p>\n

And isn’t it<\/p>\n

Funny how even now<\/p>\n

Clear skies can quickly turn gray<\/p>\n

Filling me, meeting my dismay<\/p>\n

memories of the past in my way<\/p>\n

Of the days when I had no say<\/p>\n

Pulled apart day by day<\/p>\n

but that’s gotta be over<\/p>\n

You have to die to be reborn<\/p>\n

Live with things you’ve always sworn<\/p>\n

Not to forget about<\/p>\n

I still feel tired, look so worn<\/p>\n

Heavy, tearstained, forlorn<\/p>\n

Forgetting the past, it ain’t me<\/p>\n

Don’t care about the wings, I ain’t free.<\/p>\n

And I’ll be pulled down when the sun sets<\/p>\n
