The wrinkled face, the floppy ears,<\/p>\n
She stole my heart with no regret.<\/p>\n
I was nervous to bring her home.<\/p>\n
What would my two cats think?<\/p>\n
A wiggling ball of energy,<\/p>\n
who I bathed in the kitchen sink.<\/p>\n

The dog is now medium, friendly as can be.<\/p>\n
She loves to play and zoom about the yard,<\/p>\n
Chasing squirrels or birds who drop on by.<\/p>\n
She’s not caught one yet thankfully,<\/p>\n
Though she sure loves to try!<\/p>\n
She loves to watch the neighborhood,<\/p>\n
hoping for pets and treats.<\/p>\n

The dog has helped me meet the neighbors.<\/p>\n
She’s helped me make new friends.<\/p>\n
She brings joy where ever she goes,<\/p>\n
Her goofiness never ends.<\/p>\n
