It gave me the power to see unseen things<\/p>\n
The floating of fae<\/p>\n
The angels on their way<\/p>\n
Even the demons at play<\/p>\n
(Though that one brings dismay)<\/p>\n
I saw the pain in your heart when she left you<\/p>\n
The memories of her love both bitter and true<\/p>\n
A rainy day<\/p>\n
A funny play<\/p>\n
A pretty little blue jay<\/p>\n
(Even you walking away)<\/p>\n
I know now the weight of not spending a coin<\/p>\n
And how much can happen due to a small purloin<\/p>\n
But I’ve seen hope<\/p>\n
In skipping rope<\/p>\n
And slippery tropes<\/p>\n
(Like that true love is more of a slope)<\/p>\n
I guess what I’m saying is I’m here<\/p>\n
I know what you’ve been through,<\/p>\n
And while I can see your fear<\/p>\n
This wing will hit your eye too.<\/p>\n
