I live in a small house high above the slum<\/p>\n
On the street but off the track<\/p>\n
Into the wood, the green scenery<\/p>\n
Held by the tall mountains and flat plains<\/p>\n
But enveloped in a cloud of silence<\/p>\n
Yet, once or twice broken by the bird’s chirping<\/p>\n
Or the frogs crack and the breeze blowing<\/p>\n
For the trees and Shrubs to dance slowly<\/p>\n
Though, aggressively when storms break out<\/p>\n
This word I see and I thirst for non-other<\/p>\n
Not because I was socially inept<\/p>\n
Nor was it because we all others were fake<\/p>\n
But was because silence itself was fulfilling<\/p>\n
Inspiring, thought-minded, eye-opening<\/p>\n
For I saw the other world<\/p>\n
And in silence I observed<\/p>\n
That’s why when we met,\u00a0 you asked<\/p>\n
“Have we met?”<\/p>\n
How could we have meet<\/p>\n
When I have always dwelt in silence.<\/p>\n
