Have you ever watched Aurora\u2019s morning ritual?<\/span><\/p>\n

How she flings herself across the sky to bring us the sun?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My morning ritual consists of flinging<\/span><\/p>\n

My index finger through social media.<\/span><\/p>\n

One app after the other.<\/span><\/p>\n

I wonder how this brings me light.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Aurora is mother of the winds,<\/span><\/p>\n

Conceived with father of the stars.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each little blib of contact<\/span><\/p>\n

Blows me in circles.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Everybody here looks so happy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Their smiles mock me.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why are they having fun without me?<\/span><\/p>\n

Why don\u2019t they like me anymore?<\/span><\/p>\n

Will I ever be this happy without them?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Aurora is selfless in her task<\/span><\/p>\n

Of showering this world with rays of gold.<\/span><\/p>\n

I wonder how she can be so kind.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I like to call myself kind,<\/span><\/p>\n

But I know I truly just want connection.<\/span><\/p>\n

I want people to love me.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Tell me, if I were to spread my skin so thin<\/span><\/p>\n

You could see the light through it,<\/span><\/p>\n
