Who made you believe that you were going to hell
\njust for being you?<\/p>\n
Who told you democracy had failed, when, in fact,
\nit worked as it was intended?<\/p>\n
So you wasted money on those vitamins
\nthat were supposed to make your hair shiny,
\nbut didn’t. <\/p>\n

How many children will suffer

\nwithout telling you what socialism really is?<\/p>\n
Hey, if your government doesn’t even tax corporations,
\nmuch less seize control of them for the people,
\nyeah, even that for the people shit is a lie,
\nthis isn’t a socialist country.<\/p>\n
Who makes you fear refugees
\nwho are only looking for a safe place
\nto live and love and work?<\/p>\n
You may have bought that latest kitchen gadget
\nthat takes up space on the counter.
\nAdvertising may make you waste dollars,<\/p>\n
but preachers and politicians,
\nboth the true believers and the liars,
\nwill use their words to make you believe
\nthat bondage is freedom,
\nthat your neighbor is your enemy,
\nthat earth doesn’t belong to us all,<\/p>\n
and their words, repeated often enough,
