It\u2019s June; pride month.<\/p>\n
I watch my rainbow flag ripple in the wind.<\/p>\n
If there is anyone around here that is alone and can\u2019t show who they are,<\/p>\n
There is an ally who lives here.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m your neighbor, an advocate, I\u2019ll be your family if you have none.<\/p>\n

There was a black lives matter sticker on my car-<\/p>\n
it\u2019s a little damaged from wear and tear;<\/p>\n
and there is a black lives matter sign in my heart.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s 2021, racism should be dead.<\/p>\n
I watch as people glance at my car.<\/p>\n
If there is anyone around here who is mistreated because of skin color and can\u2019t find love,<\/p>\n
There is an ally here.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m your neighbor, an advocate, I\u2019ll be your family if you have none.<\/p>\n

There is a no tolerance for bullying rule wherever you go.<\/p>\n
Sometimes it\u2019s as if there is small print, excusing bullying<\/p>\n
but not when you enter my world.<\/p>\n
I can\u2019t stand someone being hurt.<\/p>\n
I read stories and my heart breaks.<\/p>\n
If there is anyone here who is being bullied, reach out, tell.<\/p>\n
There is an ally who will stand up for you.<\/p>\n

There is stigma and judgment around mental illness.<\/p>\n
Sometimes those who suffer can\u2019t get help or speak up.<\/p>\n
They feel alone in the hell their mind has become.<\/p>\n
Writing helps me stay sane.<\/p>\n
If there is anyone that is a prisoner of their own mind, write, scream, open up.<\/p>\n
There is an ally who will listen and be there for you.<\/p>\n
