the unknown illness with its inky red fingers<\/p>\n
curling around your tightened neck<\/p>\n
and still a pool of<\/p>\n
contentment sits still in your gut<\/p>\n
just waiting to stir up the feelings of<\/p>\n
power and purpose,<\/p>\n
a personal prayer<\/p>\n
pushing you upward and onward and then<\/p>\n
bursting forth in a gut-wrenching<\/p>\n
ache to let go,<\/p>\n
if even for just that brief moment<\/p>\n
you know nothing can be done<\/p>\n
except to live with your breath,<\/p>\n
maybe even whoop at<\/p>\n
the absurdity of the place you<\/p>\n
have found yourself.<\/p>\n
What better choice is there then than<\/p>\n
to grab on,<\/p>\n
let go, tittering, and feel<\/p>\n
the curve of a smile creep<\/p>\n
round your wrinkled countenance?<\/p>\n
