{"id":9083,"date":"2015-06-13T15:08:32","date_gmt":"2015-06-13T19:08:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=9083"},"modified":"2015-06-13T15:08:32","modified_gmt":"2015-06-13T19:08:32","slug":"poem-7-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2015\/06\/poem-7-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Poem #7"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Why do I write?<\/p>\n<p>Well, on paper my st-st-stutter isn&#8217;t a problem.<\/p>\n<p>Through text, I can say anything.<br \/>\nAnd if some people don&#8217;t like it,<br \/>\nThen it really doesn&#8217;t matter.<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t have to worry about their reactions,<br \/>\nJust mine.<\/p>\n<p>I may be as proper as I see fit,<br \/>\nBut there ain&#8217;t no rules &#8216;gainst me shortnin&#8217; what I want, neither.<\/p>\n<p>I can create worlds without gravity,<br \/>\nOr where people grow flowers instead of hair.<\/p>\n<p>When I write,<br \/>\nI am unlimited un my imagination, strength, and intelligence.<br \/>\nI can be whoever I want,<br \/>\nAnd escape from the monotonous everyday.<\/p>\n<p>Writing is paradise,<br \/>\nAnd I will never give it up!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why do I write?
