And that\u2019s where the rain\u2019s<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>coming in. <\/em>Daddy was a whisper<\/p>\n<p>above sirens, tornados in the air<\/p>\n<p>and dancing in our heads. <em>We\u2019ll just dig<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>a trench. Dig down 12 feet, 18 inches.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Find some gold. <\/em>The wailing quieted,<\/p>\n<p>seemed to cease, failing to take the rain<\/p>\n<p>away with it. Hearts now calming,<\/p>\n<p>but not long before Eddie runs down<\/p>\n<p>the stairs:<em> Hey, Dad!
