I tripped over the corner<\/p>\n<p>of a metal object, raised a foot from the ground.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What is this?&#8221; as I dug with my hands<\/p>\n<p>and a rusted,\u00a0 rustic metal chest, I found.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Inside a skeletal bones of an unknown unusual bird.<\/p>\n<p>A message chiseled in stone as I move my hands as if a braile.<\/p>\n<p>My heart pounding as a read a fearful tale.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Death of humans<\/p>\n<p>of an epic proportion.<\/p>\n<p>The animal caused a pandemic<\/p>\n<p>which nearly led to human decimation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A hundred years ago and the cycle continues!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ow!
