Sorrow there\r\n                                  or joy as you imagine opening it up?\r\n                 Perhaps, better, if you put it back. To not know \r\n                              what was left behind.\r\n\r\n                             a man and woman so young then. Babies\r\n       not yet born. The woman not yet asleep in another man\u2019s bed. Pearl\r\n                     as they called it not yet bombed. Beirut, when it was\r\n          the Paris of the Middle East. The young ones, brown-skinned, before\r\n                          the top hats and whale-bone dresses before\r\n\r\n                  the burials, before the bulldozers broke what marked\r\n                                                            the graves.\r\nBefore the churches burned, before Christ turned his back,\r\n                                          before anger\u2019s black smoke\r\n                               tore down everything and ripped words\r\n                                        from cindered throats. \r\n       Before.Before.Before.Before.Before.Before.Before.Before.Before.Before.\r\n<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What Should Stay Buried Time caught in a capsule.
