Pandemic, Emergency Measures, Many Dead<\/p>\n
Oh! How did this happen?<\/p>\n
What do we do?<\/p>\n
A Global tragedy, nothing but dread!<\/p>\n
The wise old man looked around at his kin and<\/p>\n
One by one he clued them in.<\/p>\n
“Fear has been the tool they’ve used since time began<\/p>\n
Keep your eyes open and do the best that you can.<\/p>\n
Take care of each other, each sister and brother.<\/p>\n
Find love in your heart, forgiveness, and grace.”<\/p>\n
The old man went down the street to his neighbor’s place,<\/p>\n
No one to see. A sign on the door written in green<\/p>\n
“Do Not Enter. Quarantine”<\/p>\n
A curtain pulled back. His friend waved through her tears.<\/p>\n
“He’s gone, dear friend. When will it end?” She asked.<\/p>\n
“Will it ever be normal again?”<\/p>\n
Sadly, he told her it never had been.<\/p>\n
It was an imaginary place.<\/p>\n
That’s why we need to find peace<\/p>\n
and give grace.<\/p>\n
