Normal<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I could say normal is typical or regular or average,<\/p>\n
which begs a question. Is it desired in any way?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
At times normal is a beacon of light as I am<\/p>\n
giving up hope, so lost in the fog.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Other times it has shackles that make my wrists<\/p>\n
and ankles ache from locking them in.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
In nature it can be the natural pattern and<\/p>\n
we may seek the usual in verdant lush gardens.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Normal can be healthy and routine when we<\/p>\n
think of our bodies.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Normal is orderly and customary and sane<\/p>\n
but let\u2019s be honest here\u2026it can be boring.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
After all it\u2019s what\u2019s expected and current<\/p>\n
and proper and decent by some accounts.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I mostly rebel against normal because it\u2019s<\/p>\n
not weird and weird catches my eye.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Doing things as expected is predictable<\/p>\n
and satisfying and in your genes if you\u2019re<\/p>\n
in a lineage of farmers.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
If you\u2019re from a city, you\u2019ve watched<\/p>\n
normal change like sheets blowing<\/p>\n
off a clothes line and into the sky\u2026<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
You may want something different.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We\u2019re all different, so why would<\/p>\n
we want to be the same?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Isn\u2019t that thought normal?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
