Like a waxen seal between my friends and me.
\nbetween my colleagues and me.
\nbetween the world and me.<\/p>\n
Or like I\u2019m \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 out of sync.<\/p>\n
Except.<\/p>\n
Maybe normal is something you can only see from a distance.
\nAn impressionist painting of humanity.<\/p>\n
Or maybe normality grows from within,
\nBespoke.<\/p>\n
I know a handful of people who also stand\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 a little apart
\nBut they\u2019re standing here, beside me;
\nSo perhaps we are all, really,
\nNormal
