{"id":93718,"date":"2021-06-26T16:43:47","date_gmt":"2021-06-26T20:43:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=93718"},"modified":"2021-06-26T16:43:47","modified_gmt":"2021-06-26T20:43:47","slug":"hour-eight-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2021\/06\/hour-eight-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Hour Eight 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<pre><strong>Education for a New World<\/strong>\r\nRaffi calls his mission, Child Honoring.\r\nPeter Gray, Free to Learn.\r\nDr. Maria Montessori goes further\u2014\r\nshe exclaims, The Formation of Man. \r\n\r\nIt was always innate for me, \r\nI don't know why, can't explain it. \r\nIt wasn't a discovery, but common sense.\r\nThe Discovery of the Child.\r\n\r\nThe Secret of Childhood is still a secret.\r\nThe idea To Educate the Human Potential\r\nis still a concept not accepted by most.\r\nI got it as soon as I read The Absorbent Mind.\r\n\r\nIn 1949 Montessori wrote, \r\n\"We know how to find\r\npearls in the shells of oysters, \r\ngold in the mountains,\r\n  \r\nbut we are unaware of the spiritual germs, \r\nthe creative nebulae, \r\nthat the child hides in himself\r\nwhen he enters the world to renew mankind.\"\r\n\r\nIf humankind wishes to reach salvation,\r\nand the union of man, he must follow the child. \r\nThat part of it which we possess consciously\r\nis renewed every time a baby is born.\r\n\r\n<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Education for a New World Raffi calls his mission, Child Honoring.
