I woke in the night<\/p>\n

at 2 a.m. and it\u2019s hot<\/p>\n

from a wave of heat<\/p>\n

that makes it hard to sleep<\/p>\n

so I sip on a glass of wine<\/p>\n

while listening to my heart<\/p>\n

beating to the rhythm of music<\/p>\n

thinking of Blue and Both Sides Now<\/p>\n

And I ask myself why<\/p>\n

I still feel a loss of balance<\/p>\n

I must be mad; I must be blind<\/p>\n

questioning these feelings<\/p>\n

of irreconcilable desire\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

that still hold fast<\/p>\n

that still pull at my heart<\/p>\n

back to the water\u2019s edge<\/p>\n

and those distant voices<\/p>\n

still alive within every fibre<\/p>\n
