My thoughts are getting slower<\/p>\n
My eyelids closing lower<\/p>\n
My brain is loosing it’s ability to think<\/p>\n
I feel like I might just sleep if I so much as blink<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Lying on a warm bed while writing this was a mistake<\/p>\n
But a risk I was willing to take<\/p>\n
Now I’m not sure if I’m filled with regret<\/p>\n
My drowsiness is making me forget<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It’s so weird because all the other nights I was able to stay awake<\/p>\n
Now all I want to do is close my eyes and take a break<\/p>\n
But I know that if I do that I’ll fall into a deep sleep<\/p>\n
So my eyes open I shall keep (I hope)<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Is my words even making sense<\/p>\n
If it’s not, I’m sorry, my minds gone dense<\/p>\n
See, I don’t even understand what I just wrote<\/p>\n
I’m struggling to stay afloat<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The idea off drifting of into a deep, peaceful sleep is so appealing<\/p>\n
How do I get rid of this tiredness I’m feeling<\/p>\n
Plus it’s not even yet twelve<\/p>\n
And I’m already feeling sorry for myself<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Anyway, I’m gonna have to be awake for a couple more hours<\/p>\n
