It’s been so long-
\nsince she last saw him
\nso long since we said goodbye
\nWhere did the time go?<\/p>\n
She couldn’t live without him
\nShe tried-
\nOh she tried
\nBut in the end-
\nshe had to leave too<\/p>\n
He’s had to say goodbye
\nhow is that fair?
\nIt was someone elses fault their
\nloved one is gone-
\nBut he’s looking forward
\nto when they see each other
\nagain<\/p>\n
Can you even begin to understand
\nwhat these people feel?
\nwhat goes through their heads
\nwhen facing this situation<\/p>\n
He’s old and in a nursing home
\ncalling out for his wife
\nonly to get shushed or comforted
\nby somone else
\nso he bides his time<\/p>\n
She knows her time is near
\nand she’s been surrounded by
\nher legacy
\nshe’s not going to cry
\nbecause she’s dying<\/p>\n
She knows there’s going
\nto be tears when she’s gone
\nAnd she knows that they will
\nstruggle to move on<\/p>\n
She’s going to laugh
\nshe’s going to shout
\nShe’s going to be happy<\/p>\n
for what a reunion that
