Near the edge of the rooftop pool,<\/p>\n

distance falls away, infinity moves closer.<\/p>\n

Still as a heron on a river bank<\/p>\n

waiting for telltale movement,<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

the woman looks up, and away \u2013<\/p>\n

her gaze grazing unseen stars, planets.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Twilight approaches,<\/p>\n

is coming our way.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
