Don’t ask me how my trip went<\/p>\n
Don’t ask me what I bought<\/p>\n
Instead, let me tell you what I saw.<\/p>\n
While walking on the main street<\/p>\n
The heart of the city<\/p>\n
Behold, there stood a storefront<\/p>\n
With bold sign in the big gigantic letter<\/p>\n
P-E-R-I-W-I-N-K-L-E<\/p>\n
But a symbol of a flower represented the I<\/p>\n
Beside it was a gumboot skyscraper<\/p>\n
Its needle peak is seen among the cloud<\/p>\n
The store though different<\/p>\n
Stood magnificent<\/p>\n
Showing an alluring art<\/p>\n
Of the unseen and the unthinkable<\/p>\n
Though unexpected but amazing<\/p>\n
The myriad flowers were arranged in a periwinkle shell<\/p>\n
A shell colored in haste but stylishly beautiful<\/p>\n
Gone were the slimy slime<\/p>\n
Or the snail host<\/p>\n
For the shell preferred the flowers<\/p>\n
To the snails.<\/p>\n
