I am the river and I am the shore, uncertain and afloat<\/p>\n
Tumbling in the dark, and well<\/p>\n
They say I\u2019m only twenty-five<\/p>\n
So how can I fall, when the sun has just arrived?<\/p>\n
It\u2019s so bright, I should be able to see into the horizon<\/p>\n
The sunlight that flies in<\/p>\n
Into my eyes, well now I\u2019m blinded<\/p>\n
And reminded,<\/p>\n
That there\u2019s no reason for my fears,<\/p>\n
Cheers!<\/p>\n
The realization, did not seem to remove them<\/p>\n
Neither reprove them<\/p>\n
And so if there\u2019s no illness, there\u2019s no cure,<\/p>\n
But my soul, is still trapped<\/p>\n
Wrapped, in a dark cloud of doubt,<\/p>\n
And no matter how many pills they come out<\/p>\n
With, none work because I am not ill<\/p>\n
Only ailing<\/p>\n
And the road, through hardly assailing,<\/p>\n
Is not a friend,<\/p>\n
With no end in sight, I turn around and<\/p>\n
And now another year has gone by,<\/p>\n
But I\u2019m halfway through<\/p>\n
