Needle-sharp, straight to my heart<\/p>\n
Memories of that day in the sun<\/p>\n
My periwinkle dress discarded on the ground<\/p>\n
Entwined together in the grass as we watched the clouds<\/p>\n
“You can’t see the sky in the city,” you said.<\/p>\n
The busy city, littered with skyscrapers and idle gossip<\/p>\n
We were the only two souls in the world that day<\/p>\n
I turned and looked again into the storefront window<\/p>\n
And you were not there<\/p>\n
