How is gravity doing?<br \/>\nHow has it failed our feline and canine friends?<br \/>\nQuestions rise up like dandelions through concrete<br \/>\nOr like hatching birds<br \/>\nMaking me question the hubris of humanity<br \/>\nIn its war waged on the animal kingdom<br \/>\nThrough sayings<\/p>\n<p>What does it say about us, as a species<br \/>\nTo continue dignifying and celebrating<br \/>\nDestruction, cata doxa<br \/>\nReally though, how much meat is on a sparrow?<br \/>\nAnd if dogs and cats are falling from the sky,<br \/>\nAre they alive or dead upon impact?<br \/>\nWhy not just wait for a deluge,<br \/>\nThen sustainably harvest the sinister rain?<br \/>\nAt the very least we could claim to save the birds<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two birds with one stone As if it&#8217;s an accomplishment To snuff out avian lives With prejudice And it begs the question: How big are the birds?
