Habits of a Curated Life<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Perhaps if I left the refrigerator door ajar<\/span><\/p>\n

it would trend. Would I influence<\/span><\/p>\n

wannabes, elicit elegance?<\/span><\/p>\n

(My kitchen sparkles in morning light.)<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If I captured the unwavering undertow,<\/span><\/p>\n

moved waves of followers who yearn<\/span><\/p>\n

for an ounce of sleekness, and if<\/span><\/p>\n

this time I cared nothing for adulation,<\/span><\/p>\n

power, elevated Instagrams, tossed stories,<\/span><\/p>\n

would my light still beam perfection your way?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A child opens her eyes to a world of\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

keyboards and grass, both smooth on skin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Does it matter which pulls her closer<\/span><\/p>\n

to herself? Identity is relative, not urgent.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her smile, one post away from strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Her mother is made of silver. Her mother\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

a social media zeitgeist.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Friends and neighbors wait eagerly, eat space & time.<\/span><\/p>\n

She runs outside, leaves still life for later,<\/span><\/p>\n

glazes a future with unforgettable moments.<\/span><\/p>\n

What power, to woo with this magical touch.<\/span><\/p>\n
