I told her, I’ll be the cool uncle
\nevery kid needs a cool uncle to chill with
\nwhen your mum is tired and can’t play
\nto give her company and keep you entertained<\/p>\n
I told her, I’ll be the amazing uncle
\nwhile she’ll be disciplining you
\nWe can go on rides and play the guitar
\nsneaking from your house<\/p>\n
You’re a really lucky kid, you know
\nYour mum is really really smart
\nand although, not the greatest at picking friends
\nshe made an amazing choice – me<\/p>\n
I told her that you and I will surprise her
\nIn ways and times she wouldn’t expect
\nI told her that you’ll become an awesome kid
\nand no matter how old you grow, you’ll still be a kid to me<\/p>\n
