and Cloudy do not wake up all
\nat the same time.
\nNor do they eat together or
\nplay together.<\/p>\n
They are all who Ron and I imagine
\nthem to be in our future home world,
\nthe one in which we have room
\nfor Armour, the pug, Waylon, the cat
\nand Cloudy, the ferret.<\/p>\n
After his first Gulf War service was shortened
\nby returning home to nurse his dying father,
\nRon acquired a ferret he named Sonny.<\/p>\n
There could never be another Sonny. But, there could, to reference
\nTHE FRENCH CONNECTION, a Cloudy, one who would be as intuitive a pet
\nas his predecessor.<\/p>\n
Waylon, a tough cat named for Waylon Jennings, would watch over us all
\nas we slept in with little Armour Henry, the pug we want to find to adopt.<\/p>\n
That’s our small menagerie that resides in our imagination,
