among the steel beam firs<\/span><\/p>\n

seeking a real moss forest<\/span><\/p>\n

or anywhere else without watchers<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

there\u2019s nowhere silent left now<\/span><\/p>\n

except headphones and screens<\/span><\/p>\n

nowhere private and unseen<\/span><\/p>\n

except for somebody\u2019s blocked list<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

there\u2019s nowhere free to be<\/span><\/p>\n

maybe a beach or park<\/span><\/p>\n

to loiter on or off a bus line<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

faux news facepalms and says these kids are plastic<\/span><\/p>\n

only caricatures only cardboard only screen-mediated<\/span><\/p>\n

only diffuse long-forgotten SNL characters and rude cartoons<\/span><\/p>\n

reproducing duplicates in 3D printing through cultural osmosis<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

but as I watch them swapping Pokemon at the corner-store gym<\/span><\/p>\n

lingering just long enough to live while the streetlight camera takes note<\/span><\/p>\n

I wonder what necessary hardness is provided by falsity<\/span><\/p>\n
