We\u2019re old.<br \/>\nWe\u2019re gray. Stiffening muscles when we awake.<\/p>\n<p>Would we have survived them?<\/p>\n<p>I fear them to this day, yet regret saying no beneath their darkness.<\/p>\n<p>Insanity, my love, kept us apart. That pit of snakes from which I escaped.<br \/>\nThey would have bitten you, too, in their vastly evil ways.<\/p>\n<p>Will we have another life?<\/p>\n<p>Yes, I know we will.<\/p>\n<p>When all else is gone, and this world has ended, three things remain:<br \/>\nFaith, hope, and love.
