Staring at the empty screen
\ncan’t think of what to write
\nIt’s here in my head
\nin my heart yet-
\nI can’t put it into words<\/p>\n
I have so much I want to say
\nKnow what I want to say
\nbut everytime I try-
\nit doesn’t make sense<\/p>\n
I’m a writer-
\neveryone seems to think
\nthat it’s easy
\nthat all you have to do
\nis open up your laptop
\nyour journal
\ntouch pen to paper
\nand it magically appears<\/p>\n
it doesn’t always work that way
\nwords can be such a cruel mistress
\nthey can string you along
\nmake you think they sound good
\nand just like that–<\/p>\n
They turn on you.
\nscrew up your train of thought
\nmake you second guess your intentions
\nsound stupid no matter how you
