I once located my creativity<\/span><\/p>\n

In the epicenter of a profound<\/span><\/p>\n

And unnamed pain<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, others assigned labels<\/span><\/p>\n

As they are desperately want to do\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To throw one off the scent of\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A significant realization<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

They called it:<\/span><\/p>\n

Being a worry-wart<\/span><\/p>\n

Puberty<\/span><\/p>\n

Depression<\/span><\/p>\n

Anxiety<\/span><\/p>\n

Stress<\/span><\/p>\n

ADHD<\/span><\/p>\n

Poverty<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I believed the only way to make an impact<\/span><\/p>\n

Is to lose myself in the act<\/span><\/p>\n

Of art only<\/span><\/p>\n

While turning my heart\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Inside out<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When I have sat at the feet of elders<\/span><\/p>\n

And observed mature creators<\/span><\/p>\n

They do not continue to heave<\/span><\/p>\n

That which does not serve<\/span><\/p>\n

Grief and pain are crises<\/span><\/p>\n

Worthy of being held<\/span><\/p>\n

Through to wellness<\/span><\/p>\n

In the name of surviving\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

wizened and vine-ripened<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I aspire to leave the baggage behind<\/span><\/p>\n

And get on with the process<\/span><\/p>\n

Of whistling wind\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And living into\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The art<\/span><\/p>\n

That chooses me<\/span><\/p>\n
