Alice Majick

I stepped away

Outside myself

Gathered in whatto observe

Took two steps too far

Fell off the edge of Earth

I hung from Her branchesbranches

Clinging like vine

I sank into Her soul

Until her blood ran mine

Frozen peace surrounds me

Muffles liquid cries

Sings a siren song

Rest in Her lullibies

Silver tipped tongue

Drips clouds like velvet words

Winds like secret whisper

Truth the spine needs heard

  1. This poem is so visceral- walking too far off the earth. I love the wetness of it- her blood ran mine, liquid cries, silver tipped tongue, drips clouds. This feels like a dark and shining dream.
