Sonnet – Sheogorath Lord of The Shivering Isles
When I think of cheese, I think of madness;
his laughing eyes lead to his empty soul.
All thanks to the mighty Sheogorath;
to time, immortal, ever to be whole.
The shivering Isles of Oblivion
Beyond his gateway to great Tamriel;
using cheese for practically everything,
to decorate his own personal Hell.
A cheddar lamp-shade, a Camembert bed,
a Feta couch, and a Halloumi shed
A cottage cheese slip and slide on the stairs,
Mammoth cheese mini-fridge, Gouda for days.
Stay at the price of your rational mind;
stay for too long, where soon no-one can find.

(Note: this one my have had a not too subtle nod to a character from one of my favourite video-games:
‘The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’)
I love your poem titles! And this piece was such a delight to read! The rhymes were well done.
Making ‘cheese’ into a fabulous sonnet – well done!
