Prompt 7 Poem 7

Sun-kissed flowers, yellow and dainty, fragile
stand beneath a blue blanket of a sky
dotted with pillows of clouds, soft and puffy
The day reaches out to me
Asking me to come out
And enjoy its company

A doorway gapes open within
A black hole, that sucks in any form of happiness
Masked by a sense of humor
A dark bloodless wound, whispers
Beckons me to visit
to sit within its dark emptiness
and share in its despair
