If the movie or the book had been presented to me in this concise fashion, I think I would probably have enjoyed it much more. As it was, being forced to read The Hobbit in eighth grade was cruel and unusual punishment. Watching the first of the movies was sleep inducing. I only made it 25 minutes into The Lord of the Rings. Your poem is, IMO, a thousand times more entertaining than the entire series. Take that, Tolkien! 😂😂
