An unexpected happening
He poured something into our drinks
I Woke up screaming in agony
She died for six minutes literally
But worse would have been the alternative
Had we not left so abruptly
We would not have crashed into that tree
God only knows where we would be
Far worse our traumas could certainly be
Thank God we had ability
To leave before the real tragedy.

I’m at a loss for words at this tragically profound poem. To experience something truly horrific and still be able to see it as a saving grace, I am quite awed by the raw power of this poem, I hope you share it far and wide.
