Tiger! Tiger! Burning bright,

in the forest – poachers delight!

Such is the ferocious feline’s plight,

out-gunned, out-numbered, out of sight.

 

What immortal hand or eye,

could Orion’s intent defy!

Trapped in wire, a caged cry,

challenge my perceptions sensory.
