Double trouble bath

Washing away dirt from play

Scrubbing itchy bums

Stubborn four year old

Quesadilla rejected

Chooses hunger path

Heard crying again

Lost patience, anger erupts

Followed by sorry

Dropping off compost

Falls asleep in the backseat

It’s nap time for all

Mermaids, sunsets, crabs

At the public library

Sidewalk chalk party

A deer crossed the road

Antlers covered in velvet

Wiffle ball delayed

Among the boulders

Hide n’ go seek in the woods

Everybody peeks

Cutting cardboard shapes

Peanut butter n’ jelly
