When I couldn’t find my driver’s license the last time,
I felt nothing but relief.
The BMV photograph and listed information showed a stranger that wasn’t even me.
Corrected it, but now my newfound privilege leaves me reeling.
Sense of lost identity and negated experiences.
I just don’t want to lose this one.
oh gosh. how relatable. we have all experienced a moment or two wondering how intact our identities are!
And you won’t – lose this one, I mean. So poignant and so apt! Thank you.
It feels that way sometimes. Thank you for the reassurance!
