I See You (For My Riska) – Poem 4/24

One moonless starry night

When millions of sparkling diamonds

Lay strewn across a black velvet sky

I walked in a grove of whispering Oaks

When suddenly I saw a wounded Star:

I picked you up and dusted you off

And nurtured you back to health with love

Until you were whole again…

When the time came, I placed you in Orion

To shine with all the other Stars;

You are my OWN little Star…

Still shining, I see you – my Riska.
