There is an old adage about hope
seeing ‘The light at the end of the tunnel’
An optimist coined that
‘The light at the end of the tunnel may be
an oncoming train.”
A pessimist, hedging his/her bet came up
with that variation
Wyle E. Coyote verified it numerous times.
When it comes to tunnels, and lights therein
I take a more modern-day approach
and just take a plane.
