As trees lose their leaves,
And flowers lose their petals,
You left a piece of yourself with me
And I pressed that piece of you
Into my heart
So I could keep you there
The same way we take flowers and leaves
And press them between the pages of books
So we can have those reminders

We approach the finish line
Celebrate with sleep!
