As her hand falls away
My world begins to crumble
As the hair lines her face
The darkness engulfs her
Left alone grasping at straws
I kneel left empty of all
The dreams of an age
Lay empty as death
As the pain fades away
Can I ever embrace it?

As her hand falls away
My world begins to crumble
As the hair lines her face
The darkness engulfs her
Left alone grasping at straws
I kneel left empty of all
The dreams of an age
Lay empty as death
As the pain fades away
Can I ever embrace it?
The desperation of a day
Cannot manifest any bolder
When the Sun begins to set
It just grows colder
When you’ve faced all that was
and still stand tall to last
That’s when you’ve faced the day
And now the night falls fast.
