The Poetry Marathon

The end of erternity

That is all I ask

And that equals everything

To wash away the past

The night whispers silent

Like the stillness of winter

Footsteps echo

Icefall, shatter, splinter

Awaiting your word

Releasing your breath

Under crushed frame

Now you taste of death

He is ready to accept you are gone

While as for me?

It’s gone on too long

I dress your flesh

With heal caress

Bruises kissed

To nothing mist

Seal your pain

To nothing shame

Held away to make no gain

Within the clutch to leave you lame

Dead pools quaf

The empty off

Tremble numb

And quite undone

It’s a sea of glass

No faith to walk on water

Cause every step I take

Causes it to shatter

Every touch bleeds

Letting in the salt

Burning with each movement

Trapped within I’m caught

Too many dreams

To scream up to the sky

I’ve cried them all away

And bled until I died

I painted wind

More beautiful than word

Whispered  it to truth

But it goes on uheard

Skin made of paper

Bones made of wire

Ink replaceblood

Eyes burning fire

Time has mormeaning

Than any place on earth

Goodbyes stealthe should’ve s

Wasted on lies merth

Goodbye to your shadow

I now clip your wings

You never were an angel

And you never shall be king

Your name remains unspoken

You don’t know what to choose

But soon you will become

The one you wish to loose

Until God should design

Man of a new meatal

Return you to the ground

For time and let it settle

For now enjoy the silence

Perched up on youmantle

Surround  yourself with things

Go build your dream toy castle

But as time slips by

The only face you’ll have

Is lonely reflectiom

And what you could have had

Ghosts will call your name

Echo in yoursoul

The empty hall of veins

That quiet evermorel

The air was too heavy

And I couldn’t breathe

Too sick to speak out

To God what I need

Don’t leave me in silence

To hear every sound

Late flight of bird

And foot on the ground

If he wants to speak

Let it be now

For my head is lost

In wandering cloud

Heavy lid.  just for a bit

I will not stop,

I shall not quit

You marked me

With raven hair

Ruby lips

And death match glare

Marked me with.

Whom I should be

A love lost soulsoul

A broken seed

A power rich

And pure divine

While world leaves me

Hunted unkind

Promises made

And promises broke

I am what you hate

I am what you hope

Manifested addiction

I am I’m the flesh

And you hate me for it

With each escaped breath

You threaten to love

You threaten to kill

You threaten to life me

With what is your will

Evil’s not ugly

Nor does it scare

Temptation you’ll find

Seductress fair

So now you stand

Heart at your mark

Just make it clean

And end the spark

For death is my dancer

I write his song

The word that you could

Never sing along

Hill in peace

As night draws near

Nestled in as star begin

Light shoot by

In winged flight

Dance amoung

The winged sprite

Sweetest chime

Dance on wind

Sing her homehome

With song and grin

Blazing blue

Miss her hard

Help me fold

The house of cards

Got a favourite girl

In my car

Gonna fuel up

Then travel far
