To reach a part of you, you didn’t notice before, but with me you care. Soul searching through emotions of feelings you fear will appear the truth of our co-existence, but you’re reluctant to let go.Holding on to nothing.Emptiness, dwelling within a hollow home you clutch to a fantasy.Snatching your heart and your mind into a fatal mystery of remorsefulness. Let go. Let me go. Stop holding on to someone who deserve the tranquility and endearment away from you.

You see my precious heart, and loving personality that captured your mind and love you over time after time. I bet you see my sadness, happiness, and realness beyond any x-ray eyes searching for appreciation. I bet you see me honest and loyal yet, with gifted qualities you can cherish but, you don’t because of YOU…I bet.

Moving forward one step at a time thinking on the before now, pushing harder for a better right now. Slow stroll noticing different people intentions, not fazed by fast tongues spitting drama or criticism. Careful with the pace of my stride with humbleness, patience, and hardwork within my veins of our family pride. One step closers to my future destination will be near, as onlookers who don’t see me now, will have their vision cleared.

Testing, testing, guess what? I am ready to write. I wanted to test out this post and website before the marathon. Wishing everyone their best.

Good Day All,

My name is JGomez and this is my 1st- 24 hour Poetry Marathon.

I have never did a marathon before, not even a walking marathon, however I am excited and pump for this adventure.

I know it is going to be a challenge but I am ready.

I have written prompts to keep me focus, I have a selection of jazz music ready, and that weekend all food will be prepared ahead of time.

My goal is to finish strong and to be able to review my work and smile.

I hope you are gearing up for this challenge too.
