In my youth unlike today …
I did not have the same belief I have this day …
As I was young and I was dumb and did not know…
Where pure love comes from…
I was a dog person without owning a dog,
I hated cats though they had no fault…
But I was a child and I did no harm…
I just couldn’t stand cats …
Those creatures were dumb…
Yet it took one day for my heart to explode…
With the meow of a kitty that showed up in my door…
He melted my heart when I saw into his eyes…
And I cried to my mother until she complied…
To keep the poor kitty out of the rain…
What can I say that moment I changed…
Now I am a cat lover…
Like there is no other…
I’ve had 7 cats in all my life…
Whiskers the first one…
The one to blame …
My love for all kitties…he drove me insane…
Snowball the ninja and Babu the Brave…
Then came Lil Simba till he passed away…
And now I have Toothless black as the night…
Siren the princess who is first of her kind…
And last but not least there is my Ginger…
Who looks just like Simba they might just be twins…
And that is story of how my life changed…
With the meow of a kitty who was out in the rain.
