I am committed to the half, but we’ll see – maybe I have some extra words in me this year… 😉 I write mostly free verse and found poetry. I am also interested in fiction. I love challenges like this! Originally from Wisconsin, Erin Lorandos is a librarian and writer living in Phoenix. Some of her recent poetry can be found in Drifting Sands, The Avocet, the 2021 Poetry Marathon Anthology, The Purposeful Mayonnaise (and on The Bagel Hole) and The Bluebird Word. Hello! My name is Erin and this is my first year participating in the Poetry Marathon. I’ve opted for the half, since I can’t run very far 😉
I’ve been writing poetry in earnest since middle school – mostly free verse, and found poetry, and recently have become enthralled by Haibun. I am also interested in fiction. I won my first NaNoWriMo in 2020! I love challenges like this, and I look forward to reading and learning from you all, too! Thanks for having me!
