I enjoyed this prompt (after initially disliking the thought of it). It was supposed to be about *yourself* but I ended up doing one for each of my 2 main characters. Very satisfying.

Have more fun

He replied that wasn’t wasn’t your style
But the world’s born anew now
So who knows … or something like that
Okay fine: I’ll begin there then.
Born again cave girl
Dweller in silent places
Reluctant Guerrilla Fighter in a war I doubt we can win
Grandparent Seeker
Admirer of Many Dawns
This is kinda fun , not that I’ll tell him that

Star Admirer, Cold Tin Soup Hater
Ryan EyeRoller (haha this is fun)
Till a sudden sonic boom stops my fun

the dystopian hellscape that is now
Just another day
I’m so in love with this poem! I need some private time with it, want to wallow in it, swim in it. This poem is on my list of later reads! Great write! Mahalo nui!
Thank you. I’m filtering all the prompts through the lens of a YA adult novel-in-verse I’m 3/4 through writing … & I really enjoyed doing this one (as I said in my intro) … all the names refer sometimes ironically, sometimes seriously to things these two kids have gone through as part of their adventures
I’m presuming from your sign offs that you’re Hawaiian? If I’ve got that right, I hope you & you’re family/friends/everyone around you has been keeping safe xg
