I loved your introduction. It certainly feels just like the you I know. And this haiku is so reminds me of something supposedly written by a 14th century Christian saint. A female named Julian of Norwich said
‘All will be well, and all will be well and all manner of things will be well.”
I take to mean no matter how things appear we will survive and perhaps thrive again if we use these words to conjure up hope in the darkest hours.
